Like why?

And this promises a somewhat better shift.

When Uranus Finally Meets Gemini

Uranus is a slow moving outer planet that takes about 84 years to orbit the Sun, spending roughly seven years in each zodiac sign. From 2018 to 2026, Uranus has been in Taurus, a fixed earth sign associated with stability, resources, finances, and physical security. During this time, many of the disruptions Uranus is known for have shown up in Taurus related areas, including shifts in the global economy, changes in how people earn and value money, the rise of digital currencies, and evolving attitudes toward material security and sustainability. Uranus in Taurus has challenged traditional ideas of stability, pushing people to rethink what “security” actually means in a rapidly changing world.

As Uranus moves into Gemini, an air sign connected to communication, information, learning, and technology, the focus of disruption shifts from material systems to mental and informational ones. Gemini governs language, media, transportation, and the exchange of ideas, so this transit is expected to bring rapid changes in how we communicate, process information, and connect with each other. This can include advancements in technology, especially around communication platforms, artificial intelligence, education systems, and media, as well as an increase in the speed and volume of information.

The last time Uranus moved through Gemini was from approximately 1941 to 1949, a period defined by rapid developments in communication, technology, and global connectivity during and after World War II. This era saw the widespread use of radio for mass communication, advancements in early computing, and the beginning of modern information systems. Uranus in Gemini corresponded with accelerated information exchange, codebreaking efforts, and the restructuring of global communication networks, reflecting Gemini’s association with language, data, and connectivity.

Before that, Uranus was in Gemini from 1858 to 1866, a time marked by major societal and technological shifts, particularly surrounding communication and transportation. This period included the American Civil War, where telegraph technology played a crucial role in relaying information quickly across distances. It was also a time of expanding railroads and increased mobility, both of which align with Gemini themes of movement and connection. The spread of newspapers and literacy further amplified the exchange of ideas and information.

Going further back, Uranus in Gemini from 1774 to 1782 coincided with revolutionary movements, most notably the American Revolution. This period emphasized the power of ideas, written communication, and political discourse, as pamphlets, speeches, and publications were central to spreading revolutionary thought. Gemini’s influence can be seen in how quickly information and ideology spread, mobilizing people and reshaping societal structures. The USA is having their third Uranus return, marking 250 years, which also marks the downfall of their empire. Very interesting timing wise.

Across all three periods, a consistent theme emerges: Uranus in Gemini aligns with times of rapid change in communication, the spread of ideas, and shifts in how people connect and share information. Each era reflects breakthroughs or disruptions in media, technology, and intellectual exchange, reinforcing the connection between Uranus’ innovative energy and Gemini’s domain of communication and thought.

The transition from Taurus to Gemini represents a shift from restructuring physical and financial foundations to reshaping thought patterns, conversations, and networks. While Uranus in Taurus has been about redefining stability and value, Uranus in Gemini is likely to emphasize adaptability, curiosity, and flexibility in thinking. On a personal level, this can show up as a need to change perspectives, learn new skills, communicate more openly, and embrace new ways of understanding the world.

Everything is changing. Years go by and nothing much changes. And all of a sudden everything is different. You are different.

I am not the same girl.

Ever notice how a million eyes can be watching you. But the one you really want could care less? One person out of a million. It is never the one you want. How twisted is that? I just want someone to say they are proud of me. I have heard it a lot from many people who love and admire me. Many people love and admire me. I am blessed. But the words hit more when it’s from the one(s) you want.

I didn’t sleep well last night. There is too much energy building up inside of me. As someone who has had low energy for years and years. It feels foreign to me. But I like how it feels.

This weekend is going to change everything for me. I know it.

In other news. I feel a weight heavy from the burdens of this world. The war, genocide and starvation of multiple countries. The loss of empathy and compassion for our fellow man is quite fucked up. Maybe it was never there in the first place? Humans truly are despicable. I knew this year would amplify this energy. And I really hope to do a lot more good for my fellow humans in the years to follow. This weekend is just a snippet of what I am going to be capable of. Watch me.

A Letter to my Younger Self

You are sad because you deserved better.

You deserved peace and happiness.

You deserved to be cherished.

You deserved to be heard and understood.

You deserved to be protected.

In your most vulnerable moments is when they came for you. Purposely misunderstood you.

And you paved the way. Things will never be that way again, because of the pain you endured. That you still endure.

And yet still somehow here you are, the villain, the wicked. The bad guy.

My heart hurts so much for little me. Oh the things she deserved.

She never deserved this. And even though it’s years later and things are abundant and wonderful and beautiful. That pain is still carried. And the only thing to do is feel it and move through it. Because certain types of pain don’t just go away. You learnt to bare it and grin. What else is there to do?

Thank goodness for 3 smiling, admiring faces. Faces that could never look at me with such disdain. Eyes just like mine. That maybe don’t understand my pain (yet) but know my heart, body and soul. There is more than just 3 hearts. 4 or 5 or 6 or 10. These are major blessings.

The blessings are so real. But that pain still lingers. It surprises me in my reactions to things. It surprises me when it chooses to come out. Humbling me always. Girl you are not healed. Healing is not linear.

But never forget. You deserved better. You will never get the apologies you deserve. And it is what it is. It’s not okay. But there is nothing you can do to control that situation so you have to make it okay.

One other thing before I sign off. I love you and little me would have been in awe of everything you have accomplished. Significantly cooler than you ever could have dreamed of. And literally living a dream life. Beyond your wildest dreams. So the sadness is worth it. Remember that.

Astrology of March and the rest of 2025! Be ready for societal change.

If you have been following me for any amount of time you will know there is nothing new with what I am about to talk about and tell you all.

This all started last year. Well to be fair I would even say this goes back much further, since Covid and 2020. We have been building and recovering from that. So the impact of everything that happened last year and then this year is empahsized because we were never actually fully recovered from everything the last several years has taken from us.

So let’s take it back to last year. 2024. Pluto made a massive shift. In astrology Pluto is considered a planet. Yes I know its debatable in astronomy. But in astrology it IS a planet. We love Pluto. She is formidable in power. She represents death, rebirth and transformation. And when she changes signs, which is typically every 20 years. There is always some type of societal collapse. The death of the old and the birth of the new. And unfortunately when Pluto is involved this is never easy, nice and cute. It is ugly and devastating. Which is very hard.

Pluto was in Capricorn since 2008! Can you think back to 2008 when the shift changed from Sagittarius and Capricorn? What do we think happened in 2008? Economic collapse, housing crisis and war. Just to name a few. Sounds familiar doesn’t it? This is how Pluto goes out. Taking down societal infrastructure on its way. Pluto is also not very comfortable in Capricorn. It’s a hard planet with a hard placement. Rigid. Less fun. I would say that the entirety of the time of Pluto being in Capricorn has been not an easy journey for our little planet Earth and its beings that we call humanity. Pluto was going back and forth since 2023. It would move forward Aquarius and then become retrograde and move back into Capricorn. There was a lot of energetic whiplash that we have been dealing with since this time. But Pluto did make its official switch into Aquarius in November of 2024. This was thoroughly impacting both Cardinal and Fixed signs. Particularly Capricorn and Aquarius. Capricorn would have likely dealt with massive ego death, and loss in their lives in smaller but more potentially, bigger ways. Aquarius could feel the heaviness of the energy as it built. Capricorn could experience death figuratively and very much literally. Capricorn hasn’t had the easiest time. Nor do they ever if we’re being honest entirely. So this shift that has happened will be very important for them. And their chance to glow up is there.

Pluto will be in Aquarius until 2044. It is a long term transit. Pluto hasn’t been in Aquarius since the late 1700s. Think French Revolution. Think decapitating the mega wealthy, political, influential and famous by guillotine. And the start of the Renaissance period when there was an overwhelming surge of creative energy, art and music. Pluto in Aquarius is going to be weird. I see emphasis on technology, sciences, health, AI, robotics. And most importantly on our systems of power. Remember what Pluto represents. Death, rebirth and transformation. Society will collapse and will change.

Which brings us to present day. I think we can all agree, that if you have been paying even an iota of attention about what is happening on a global level. And let’s be real, in this day and age, with technology and news so readily available, most of us are hyper aware. We are very much seeing the decline and destruction of a society that no longer works. It has been challenging and I think for a lot of us. Scary and hard. Pluto in Aquarius. This is what we are witnessing in a lot of ways.

But believe it or not. This year is even bigger than last years shift of Pluto moving into Aquarius. It’s happening again. Multiple (outer) planets changing signs. Energy and shifts that have never happened…Ever.

The first couple months of the year have been fallout from Pluto’s big move. That is what we have been dealing with and it doesn’t make any of it easier. But at least it explains some of it.

And now here we are moving into March. Which is going to be the biggest month of the year. If you have been feeling out of sorts. Not yourself. The astrology of this month will explain why. Firstly, there are two planets that will be going retrograde. Venus and Mercury. And these two retrograde planets will be affecting love and communication. Which is a very important part of most people’s personal lives. Retrogrades build for weeks before and after. We will be dealing with that energy well into spring and even Summer. The second thing occurring during March is two(!!) eclipses. On March 13th there will be a partial lunar eclipse in Virgo. This will be affecting Virgo/Pisces but also mutables in general. Pisces, Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius. If you have any major placements in your natal chart you will be feeling the energy of this eclipse. Eclipses grow for weeks before and after, just like retrograde planets. Eclipses represent fate, destiny and karmic cycles. They are highly transformative. They want you to level up and evolve as a human being. The energy is VERY fated right now. We are witnessing destiny unfold. And if you are someone with a Pisces or Virgo placements this is YOUR main character moment. The other eclipse that is happening is a solar eclipse in Aries which will be on March 29th. This is the FINAL eclipse in a series that started in 2023 that were impacting Aries and Libra. As well as Cardinal signs in general Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Eclipses always happen over a 2-3 year span of time. I call them eclipse portals. It’s typically a time of rapid growth and evolvement as a person. Eclipse energy is heavy and intense. And whether you have the placements in your chart or not you will be feeling it. Those of us who are perceptive and knowledgeable to these shifts will know what it’s from. Others who aren’t might just chalk it up to “not feeling themselves.” I always recommend grounding during eclipse seasons. Because it can be intense and it can make a person irrational, impulsive and not act themselves. There also can be physical symptoms as well. Headaches, nausea, heart palpitations, anxiety etc. The energy will be thick the entire month of March. We can expect some explosive moments.

And as if all of that wasn’t enough we have another big major shift that is happening at the end of March that will be impacting on a societal/collective level. Neptune the planet of spirituality, subconscious, intuition and escapism will be changing signs from Pisces into Aries. This is happening on March 30th. Neptune typically stays in a sign for 14ish years. Neptune has been in Pisces since 2011. Neptune and Pisces both have very similar energy. We saw a resurgence of spiritual practices. I call it the “old ways” but some might say new age. There is nothing new about it. Although some people have made their own spinoffs of the old ways. So in that regard I guess you could call it new age. But tarot, astrology, healers, psychics etc have all been having their moment since Neptune moved into Pisces in 2011 and this is certainly when my gifts grew as an individual but many others as well. Again though, it’s a slow death on the way out. The big thing about both Neptune and Pisces is there is a strong level of delusion. Not seeing things clearly. Fogginess. Haze. I really think this is why it feels so chaotic right now. It is hard to see the bigger, better picture when Neptune is making its shift and causing confusion.

Neptune in Aries is going to bring a lot of energy back. It’s been missing for quite some time. I expect radical spiritual and idealogical change. The last time Neptune was in Aries was in the 1860s. We saw the American Civil War during this period of time. We also saw inventions such as the printing press and moving towards a current economic state with the opening of the New York Stock Exchange. It feels a bit culty as well on the shadow side of things. People being desperate for leadership and finding it from fascists or zealots. This is going to be bring the energy and vitality needed. But in that same token, Aries is Mars ruled. Mars is a violent planet. I do expect there to be violence. But this energy, despite the intensity of it, allows the opportunity for you to build upon your dreams. Beware power dynamics. The thirst for power.

The problem with these long term planetary shifts is they often go back and forth before actually making a full switchover. Neptune will be retrograde by the end of this year and will go back into Pisces. It is emotional, energetic and spiritual whiplash. Neptune will go direct next January 2026 and will stay there permanently until March of 2039.

The other big shifts that are happening this year. Saturn is also moving into Aries on May 24th of this year. Saturn the planet of restriction, responsibility, hard work and karma. Aries the Mars ruled, action oriented and firey first sign of the zodiac. It will also have a retrograde period around the fall. Once again giving this energetic and spiritual whiplash. It will move forward again into Aries next year.

Uranus will move into Gemini on July 7th. Uranus the planet of revolution, rebellion and innovation. Gemini the Mercury ruled, air sign ruling social charm and communication. It will also have a retrograde period come November of this year. But this pendulum effect from all of these influential planets is more than a lot to deal with. Particularly for dear Pisces, Aries and Gemini. It is being called the Year of the Divine Pendulum and it certainly will feel as such.

And then Jupiter! Jupiter will be moving out of Gemini and into Cancer in June of this year. Jupiter the planet of luck and expansion and Cancer the homebody, lunar ruled, water sign. Jupiter transits are typically only around a year. But Jupiter is actually exalted in Cancer. And goodness knows all the Cancers in my life could use some of that lucky energy.

Some other notable moments this year are Chiron in Aries will be retrograde this July until January of 2026. And then this past January we saw the Nodes shift into Pisces and Virgo which usually go hand in hand with eclipses.

I plan to talk a lot more in depth on each of these shifts as we move forward. But one thing is for certain, we must prepare for change and rapid developments in a variety of areas of society. On a very global scale. It feels like a full societal overhaul. None of this has ever happened all at once. We say that history repeats itself, but the reality is that this is going to be completely different. History repeats itself but we are also making brand new history at the same time. And with that comes a lot of feelings and heaviness. A need to protect ourselves and our close inner circles. A need for grounding. As I spoke about in my previous blog post.

It has been awhile...

Hey friends! Wow!! My last blog post was from 2022. How things have changed since then. I won’t spare you all with all the dirty details. Although I am sure some of you would love to know lol.

I will say this year I am taking a break from a lot of things I have had going on over the last few years. The Wicked Bazaar was a wonderful and wild success. But also depleted a lot of my energy and put me in…harms way. That’s all I’ll say. I am not done with it by any means. But as of now, there are no markets planned for 2025. I feel a break this year will do me good.

I also don’t plan on participating in any markets this year. I have two yard popups in mind, spring and fall. More details to come on that. I also am open to popups with other small businesses. But aside from that I plan to be somewhat elusive this year. A lot of my stock has been depleted and I don’t really have any plans to bring any new pieces/stock in at this point. I really just need the break overall.

I am still doing tarot and astrology readings however! And it is a good time to get in for a reading considering the absolute madness and chaos of this year. Particularly if you are Virgo, Pisces, Aries or Gemini. These placements are having very big moments this year. I do have lots of room for readings moving forward but am booking about a month in advance at this point. I haven’t decided if I want to start a booking system. Part of me really wants to. But I also am just really enjoying having full control of my bookings. So for now you can reach out via DM or email to book an appointment with me. I also would really like to do more parties this year. The more notice time wise the better. So if you have a bachelorette, or birthday party or even just a spooky/witchy themed party in mind, consider me!

My advice for this year is to take several seats back. Do not do too much or any extras beyond existing and surviving. As an astrologer, it is interesting (and can be scary) knowing how and what might be coming our way. It is very much a blessing. I am super grateful for my knowledge and also my ability to help others because of this. But I also can acknowledge where this year might be harder because of that. Focussing on grounding, stability and the things you can only control. Your situation. Your people. Surrounding yourself with people who make you feel peace, safe and loved. Doing the things you enjoy. Creating! Creative energy is going to be soooo imperative to help us get through these tough times. And if you aren’t a creative person, ask yourself why? Because everyone has that ability inside of them. Lastly. Do the things. Do the things you want to do. Live your life exactly as you want to. Take the trip. Buy the trinkets (particularly if they are coming from small Canadian businesses). Eat the treats. This is a year to not hold back on living your best life.

My other two points for this year would be to learn how to grow your own food. Start small if you have never gardened before. And community care. If you have any means to take care of others. Mutual aid is going to be so important moving forward. And this goes beyond donating money. If you have clothes or home goods to donate. Give to your neighbours rather than selling. If you make a pot of soup or pasta for yourself. Maybe donate an extra meal if you can spare. There are tons of mutual aid sites on social media to choose from. But beyond that there are so many good ways to donate and give your time and energy into taking care of your neighbours, friends, family and community. Having said that you are your number one priority. Take care of yourself first. Particularly this year. I do foresee a lot more community care and mindedness moving into the future.

I plan to write a blog following this one about the astrology of this year and some things that I predict going down and how to best move with this energy. But most of my suggestions you can find above. It really is important to take care of ourselves. Take care of each other. We will get through this I promise. And believe it or not, this all is moving towards a brighter and healthier future.

Full Sturgeon Moon In Aquarius Ritual August 2020

Hey friends! I hope everyone is doing well. It has been awhile for me. I have been so busy! I would like to add an update on our lives but this post really doesn’t belong in that realm. So I will just be talking about the full Moon tonight. It is a damn special full Moon. For me at least anyway. It is the first full Moon ritual I will have done in way too long, and I have much to release. There is a full Moon in Aquarius today August 03rd at 10:38am CST. The peak has already passed but it does not mean you can not use this energy to perform a full Moon ritual. The energy is heavy and electric with several planets also currently retrograde. Full Moons are a time where emotions and sensitivities are already heightened, it is a good time to ground yourself and release some of the negative emotions you may be feeling and toxic ties you may be attached to. There are some really ancient rituals that have been done for 1000s of years. A lot of different astrologers and healers use these types of things to help people with the difficulties of life. You can do a ritual for all kinds of different things but some popular times to commit to doing a ritual is during new Moons, full Moons and during the equinoxes and solstices. If you really enjoy doing them then you can start to do a ritual for other things you need in life. It can be very therapeutic. The power of manifestation is a crazy thing and that’s why these rituals are important. This month will be affecting those of you with fixed signs, being Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.

The full Moon will be in the air element of Aquarius. Full “Sturgeon” Moon, known as sturgeon Moon because this is the time of year when there Algonquin tribes would fish for sturgeon and they were verey easily caught. Aquarius is ruled by Uranus the planet of freedom, revolution, chaos, unique expression and change. They are typically unconventional souls. I always think of Aquarius as my little weirdo alien friends. Analytical, original, humanitarian and very independent. They are a fixed sign however and because of this are prone to stubbornness but also incredibly loyal to those they love. Despite their loyalty to the ones they love they can come across as cold and aloof. Emotionally detached, they are not ones to express themselves very well in matters of the heart. Use this full Moon to celebrate your eccentricities, challenging the status quo, thinking outside the box, starting a revolution, owning your genius and sharp mind and innovative action. Letting go and cutting toxic ties are always the number one theme on full Moons. Truths and lights will be illuminated as well.

Whereas we perform new Moon rituals to set wishes and intentions for the month ahead of you, the reason we do a full Moon ritual is to let go of things that no longer serve you. This could be attitudes, emotions, personal relationships, bad habits, illnesses. Anything you can think of that is negatively impacting your life. Things that have been hidden can also be revealed. Revelations and people being exposed. You can count on it for a full Moon. I like to burn my full Moon ritual intentions. It can be very symbolic and healing. You can also interpret the way your paper burns, so if your intentions light up instantly and burn the paper completely you have truly let go or maybe the fire fades quickly and only burns off a corner, what do you think that is telling you? Focus on the flames and how the paper looks at the end of it burning.

You have 3 days before the new moon to perform this ritual or 3 days after.

1) Gather any and all supplies that you will need for the ritual. Incense such as You can use herbs too smoke cleanse beforehand, I will be using lavender for this full Moon. You will need some crystals (amethyst, labradorite, clear quartz), a pen, a journal to write, a bowl to burn herbs in or burn intentions, a bowl of water and a white or black candle.

2) Create yourself a special alter space for all the items that you have gathered. It doesn’t matter where your alter space is, it can be any table in the house or on the floor, inside, outside, wherever you feel most comfortable. Decorate with items such as crystals, plants, candles, things you find outside in nature like leaves or feathers, decorative table runners, anything you can really think of that seems appropriate. For the Aquarius full Moon I will be using lots of amethyst, lavender, purpler bellflowers, Thai basil, labradorite, clear quartz and a giant bonfire filled with various outdoor brush/wood from outside. An extra special and powerful smoke cleanse. Purple is the mood. I am feeling all things purple. That crown chakra. Find ways to heal and expand and remember to stay hydrated as well.

3) Start by cleansing your alter space and say a little prayer. You can use your selenite or lavender. It can be along the lines of “I respect mother Moon and all she does for us. I plan to release that which no longer serves me. I do this to heal myself from past traumas and to fully let go and move forward.“ Write down your traumas, negative mindsets, toxic behaviours and the things that we wish to let go of focus on them, meditate on them. What do you wish for your life? Can you actually picture these things happening to and for you in your life? Letting go WILL NOT work if you truly don’t believe it. It’s important to be clear on what you want. You can doodle and make your intentions “pretty” or it can be as simple as writing a list. This is a good time to set intentions for letting go of limiting thoughts and beliefs, letting go of what isn’t working for you and reevaluating a new plan. Even if your ideas are eccentric and out there don’t be afraid to be unapologetically you. Think outside the box and look for radical solutions to the problems you are facing. This can also be a time to let go of toxic people and attachments in your life, or negative mindsets in general not just to do with Aquarius. If you are going through a rough time now would be the best time for you to perform a full Moon ritual.

4) Light your candle and put your crystals in the bowl of water. You want to charge the water and cleanse yourself after burning your intentions. Hold your intentions over the other bowl and using the candle light them on fire. Like I have already said you will want to analyze how they burn, even take a picture or video to look back on later.

5) At this time you can take some time for yourself however you wish, write down your interpretations of the flame burning, further meditation, possibly a tarot reading if you do that, you can even enjoy a glass of wine. Tell the Moon you love her, clean up your space and now is a good time to put your crystals in a window sill to charge under the light of the full moon. You have just completed your full Moon ritual. Now can be a good time to take a detox bath. Use bath salts, flowers, crystals and maybe even a charcoal mud mask to help detoxify and destress.

Full Buck Moon Eclipse in Capricorn July 5th, 2020

Well friends, here we are again. The summers are always so crazy energetically because every summer we usually deal with multiple planets retrograde, the eclipses and of course you add a full Moon into that mix and its an explosion of energy and emotions. Tonight at 10pm the eclipse will begin until I reaches its peak time at 12:52am. Technically it is not exactly a full Moon however because of the impact of the lunar eclipse which severs the lunar cycle slightly. But it will be visible in Winnipeg tonight so definitely check it out weather permitting of course. As I have come to learn, do NOT manifest during an eclipse. Capricorn is the Cardinal, Earth element sign of the zodiac. Ruled by Saturn which represents commitments and responsibilities. They are extremely hardworking, with focus on drive, money and of course responsibility and commitments. They are strong, steady and grounded. A bit pessimistic and melancholic at times. Can come off cold to others or emotionless at times but they are actually quite warm especially to those they are close to. This energy is a nice balance to all of the crazy and emotional Cancer and eclipse energy. The earthy energy will definitely help to ground things slightly despite the eclipse and retrograde planets. Themes surrounding fatherhood, patriarchy, authority, home life vs career, private life vs public personas, and of course your career and long term goals. I will not sugarcoat it, there can be some really intense and difficult times during astrology. This is all a part of life and the process. Right now we are going through it. Especially for you dear Cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Think intense anxiety, irritability, mood swings. Some of us are having extremely dark thoughts or fears that may be due to previous experiences. Intense anxiety. Do not latch onto the past because of how afraid you are of the present and especially the future. The anxiety is normal and it will pass. Practice grounding techniques, use crystals and essential oils for healing, and if need be accept you may need stronger and medical help if your anxiety is out of control. Today I spent the day drinking lots of water, tending to both my indoor plants and gardens, wrapping dried herbs, I took a 3 hour nap with my boys and I plan on going to bed early. I have come to a few realizations in the last couple weeks that have really affected me deeply and brought up a lot of pain and trauma. It is all things that I am working on and processing. But it was important to spend the day grounding myself and these activities are all very grounding for me. If you are not personally feeling this energy, that is amazing, again like I said it will likely be Cardinal signs. But you may find that your loved ones are going through it and in this case you must definitely be there for them. Eclipses always trigger circumstances that you otherwise wouldn’t expect until months down the road. They are fated times and usually the circumstances surrounding are karmic meaning you have very little control over what will happen. Time becomes skewed and speeds and distorts our perception which is why coping during eclipses can be difficult. This will trigger you to let things go, which also goes hand in hand with full Moons as well. This doesn’t even necessarily mean people, but let go of your fears, anxieties, negativities, toxicity and worries. Especially in Capricorn I find this is an amazing time to do this. Responsibility and commitment are at the forefront right now. Often times a lot of anxiety comes from these 2 things. Make sure to take care of your body, do some self care and of course remember to eat and drink lots of water. Take a cleansing bath or submerge yourself in some sort of water. The water will help to ground you. Practice other grounding techniques such as meditation, deep breathing, yoga, painting. Whatever it is that helps you feel sane in trying times. Lots of naps! Eclipses are either a very sleepy time or the opposite and you will be suffering from insomnia. Either way make sure to get enough rest. Remember that both full Moons and eclipses expose what we wish not to see. It exposes our fears, our neglect and nightmares. Despite the hardships during this time your feelings are completely valid and you must feel through it and process it in order to grow. Growth happens when we deal with our pain. Check on your friends and loved ones, especially those with Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn placements. Even if you are not feeling it, chances are someone you know is and even just showing up for someone else can make all the difference. This will pass and soon enough things will be back to the way they were. These 2 weeks in eclipse limbo have been a trip and we aren’t out of the woods yet. We have one more to go on the 20th. New Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer

Hey friends I wanted to come here quickly and talk about the energy that is surrounding us heavy for the last few days and I am sure you are also been potentially already feeling it. There is a full solar eclipse in Cancer that also coincides with the new Moon in Cancer. It will not be visible here in the Northern Hemisphere but will be to those in South American countries. We will not see it but we will still feel it. The emotional, nurturing, intuitive and creative water sign of Cancer is the mother of the zodiac. She is feminine and Cardinal. She is family oriented and a major homebody with love for creature comforts. Cancer has a tendency to cling to the past and can hold a grudge for a lifetime. Moody Cancer can be temperamental. I love Cancers so much they are great to have in your life. The family and home theme are going to be incredibly present for this eclipse. Especially with the new Moon in Cancer as well. Especially with Cancer being ruled by the Moon. It will be intense. This Eclipse will be affecting those with Cardinal signs the most: this includes Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. I am sorry my friends, ride the waves and expect intense feelings and potentially life changing experiences. Eclipses often times signify fated turning points and incredible transformation. Karma, fate, destiny. You have little control over the events that will transpire. A time to shed your old life and leave behind old paradigms. We are being highly encouraged to move forward and to embrace a new way. This is absolutely necessary and must be integrated into our very being and consciousness. For some people this eclipse season will be painful and hard but you must trust in the universe giving these hardships to you because it knows you can handle it and it knows that whatever changes are coming will be necessary and you will grow exponentially from these experiences. You would not be thrust in a new direction if you can’t handle it. With the new Moon and solar eclipse both in Cancer the family and home themes will be very present. Maybe you are moving houses? Reconciling with an extranged family member? Going through issues with your mother? Planning a big renovation for your home? Starting a new creative endeavour? Going through family issues? Processing childhood trauma? Dealing with your emotions for the first time in a long time? There are many ways this eclipse can present itself. Just know that if you are feeling anxious, or have that heavy feeling in your chest it is completely normal. The anxiety may be your intuition on feeling what is coming. Or maybe you’re already going through it and things will climax during the next few days. Eclipses may manifest themselves in a person in several ways: the anxiety, sleepless nights, overtired, sleeping too much, crazy dreams and visions, upset stomach, dehydrated, overemotional and overwhelmed. You must disengage when you can, rest up if you feel the need to rest and be very conscious of your actions and your reactions. I suggest sleep well and drink lots of water over the next few days. Spend time in the safety and security of your home with loved ones and spend time nurturing those you love and yourself. Self care will be key to getting through this tricky time. Ground yourself with crystals and cleansing/relaxing baths. Take care of yourself and also be very weary to not overreact and potentially create something out of nothing. I definitely suggest not performing any sort of magick or manifestation work until this energy passes for the next few days. I normally would be all over a tarot reading during this time but I will probably continue to give my cards a rest for at least the next day. Expect may regular scheduled tarot posts shortly. And with 5 Retrograde planets this will add even more confusion to this heavy eclipse energy. This eclipse is the 2nd last in a series of Cardinal eclipses that started a year and a half ago. Litha and the Summer Solstice

Hey everyone! I hope you are all well and healthy in these crazy and weird times. Despite it all, life does go on and we find ourselves today on Midsummer aka Litha aka the Summer Solstice. All intertwined with nature, astrology and science. The solstice being the longest day of the year with lighted skies until well beyond 10pm. A day to honour this beautiful time of year and the abundance it will bring to be. It signifies the light and fertility and life and the culmination of The Oak King. The Oak King embodies the spirit of nature and the sacred male principle. He is at his peak strength before he is cut down and then sacrificed in order to symbolize the necessity of death in order for life to continue. This is anticipating the coming harvest. Litha, like Beltane is a Sabbat strongly associated with the element fire. A good way to celebrate like Beltane again is with a huge bonfire celebration. I will definitely be having a bonfire tonight, weather permitting of course. It looks as though there will be a Thunderstorm this morning which is even more perfect and fitting. For not only the solstice but also the eclipse tomorrow. But if you can’t celebrate with a fire there are lots of ways you can honour today. Here are 8 of them:

1) Have a celebratory bonfire. Wear your flower crown and flowiest dress. Dance under the sky. Drink wine, sing and laugh.

2) Water and tend to your gardens with the most love and tender care. Do this with intention. Harvest herbs flowers and vegetables, whatever you can to use in a delicious meal, baking or decorating.

3) Bake Litha Honey Cakes or alternately you can also bake a strawberry and lemon loaf. Honey and citrus are both associated with Litha.

4) Make a Litha altar, use things like flowers and herbs and citrus to make it special. Honour your own fertility and femininity. Do a tarot reading.

5) Leave fairy offerings. Again things like, flowers, crystals, herbs. You can also make them a little fairy altar or set up a cute little bird house. Build a terrarium or garden for them. Somewhere for them to congregate and enjoy their space.

6) Enjoy a cleansing Litha bath. Use oils such as lavender, rose or lemon. Add flowers and crystals such as tigers eye, jade, lapis lazuli and emerald. Use pink, orange, yellow or white candles.

7) Make lavender infused lemonade. Sooooo yummy and super simple if you have both lavender and lemons.

8) Spend time outdoors soaking up all that nature has to offer. Walk barefoot in the grass and allow yourself to become grounded with the earth. Even if you can’t get to the beach, the lake or the park, even just spend time outside in your backyard and soak it all in. Especially in Winnipeg, we have very little nice days and we must enjoy them regardless if you “believe” in Litha or not.

Mercury Retrograde in Cancer June 2020

Even though it seems we just had a Mercury Retrograde, it’s time for another one. How lucky for us?!? You probably have been feeling the affects of it already as there is a shadow period that lasts a few weeks before and after it goes retrograde and then direct in few weeks. Mercury the planet of communication, travel and technology. Mercury goes retrograde tomorrow on June 18th and then direct July 12th, 2020, in the sign of Cancer. Doesn’t it feel like we just did this? With 5 planets currently retrograde AND a solar eclipse on Friday the energy is thick. If you can feel it you are in tune, if not maybe try to tune into what nature and your own self is trying to tell you. Mercury in general is not really at its peak in Cancer because of all all the sensitive and emotional energy so we are going to be expecting even more confusion than what is typical most likely. What is a retrograde? When a planet is retrograde it means it’s orbit is spinning backwards and spinning slower than usual. Mercury is fast paced and not used to this energy at all. Expect confusions, miscommunications, travel delays, technological breakdowns, people from your past popping up unexpectedly and hold off on major purchases or huge contractual decisions. This is a good time to focus on your intuitive nature and dreams. This is a time to get in touch with your third eye and psychic abilities. Open up to the unknown. Always follow your gut and intuition it’s crazy the things it can lead you to. Expand your mind! Take baths while getting in tune with yourself and drink lots of water. As always we must slow down and not make any rash decisions, in communication and personal matters. Please back up your computer and all of your work! Expect there to be a bit of confusion and make sure to triple check all forms of emails, social media and texts, and even when you are speaking in person. Do not speak irrationally. Deception and gaslighting may be a thing that happens as well as unnecessary fights over nothing. Most importantly this is a time to slow down and really go inward to focus on yourself and your own intuition. Retrogrades are not anything to fear despite the heavy energy. It is important to prepare yourself but also go with flow. Use this time to rest, reflect, regenerate, relearn, reevaluate and refine you yourself and your very own core values. Self awareness and reflection is always key to growth. Mercury will go direct on July 12th so we have a few weeks of this retrograde energy. Get ready friends! Not only this but this will be coinciding with the new Moon Solar Eclipse in Cancer as well. SO much water energy and it is thick and heavy this week! This retrograde will be focussing on home life, family, maternal relationships and miscommunications amongst the family unit will be highlighted. Use this time to reflect on how you want your relationships to go forward once Mercury goes direct. A wonderful time to get in touch with family members you are no longer in touch with, especially with the coinciding Solar Eclipse in Cancer. Let’s get in touch with ourselves and our emotions and flourish. But watch out because you may feel a little emo and way more sensitive than normal. I also want to add that Mercury, as well as all of the planets go retrograde at the very least once a year, if not a few times. Yes retrograde periods should be a time to rethink your decisions and hold off on big purchases. However I must preface this by saying, this is not always realistic. Life gets in the way and we cannot fear retrograde periods. If things are happening effortlessly for you, don’t question it. There are certain things that may be affected by this, I don’t really recommend booking a trip during Mercury Retrograde and in fact myself and a few of my friends have had their travel plans disrupted during this time. Me personally I had a trip to Calgary planned and Italy, both cancelled due to Covid of course. I will just say be aware of what can go wrong and rethink everything and all decision making. The signs most affected by this retrograde period will be water signs and cardinal signs so Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces and Aries, Libra and Capricorn as well. If you have any placements expect to feel the affects more than the average. Use crystals, herbs, water, nature, journaling and meditation to keep yourselves grounded during these times.

Retrograde Season 2020

I have gotten a bit behind on a lot of my writing projects. Obviously life has totally gotten in the way and I had many days of celebration as of recently, over all the blessings in my life, so I have been relaxing and taking it easy as much as one can with 3 kids. Also I am still somewhat adjusting to life with 3 kids under 4 years old including a gassy newborn and a toddler who doesn’t want to listen at all. Life is certainly kinda weird and crazy these days. I feel not as affected by the madness of the pandemic because I was a stay at home mom before COVID-19 hit and basically in isolation for most of my pregnancy. With 3 very young children, breastfeeding around the clock and postpartum recovery I have found it incredibly easy to stay home and not see people. This also does get in the way of any sort of creative pursuits I want to work on though. I need to give myself way more credit than I do because I am really good at multitasking and can work on my endeavours while simultaneously taking care of my children. I was back doing readings just a week after giving birth and I have been consistently but albeit slowly selling from my little Occult shop. But today for example, I am sitting here writing this blog post, meanwhile the big boys are playing in their room upstairs and Salem is currently napping in front of me and probably will sleep for the next hour before I need to feed him. I won’t lie part of the reason I have not been writing is because Jesse bought me a Switch Lite and Animal Crossing for my birthday and Mother’s Day so I have been playing that obsessively slightly lol. But today is the day, I will be doing a mass update. I am going to be updating about all the retrograde planets we currently have and what that means for the next several months. This is quite literally one of the craziest weeks astrologically and kicking off eclipse season to boot. Things are going to be intense to say the least, but 2020 has been that way since the beginning.

Basically 2020 was always going to be crazy astrologically because of all the intense astrological placements that are happening but this week just happens to be one of those weeks where everything happens at once. Pluto went retrograde a few weeks ago but I had just given birth which is why I never ended up writing about it. Saturn, Venus and Jupiter go retrograde this week and obviously Jupiter happened on my birthday while I was celebrating which is why I did not write about it then. I figured I would make one big blog post about it. Retrograde periods are always a period of rethinking, realigning, reevaluating and revisiting. The prefix re- meaning to go back in time. It is often a time where your core values are completely revised. People come back into your lives from the past and feelings can be quite intense. Things can be quite confusing and chaotic during these times but all you need to do is to turn this energy inward and work on yourself. During these crazy times I also feel collectively the world is never going to be the same. This pandemic has changed everything and now is the time, during these retrograde periods to rethink everything we know it that we have done before this moment and shed all our old ways that were not working for us, and to bounce back from this period of time stronger, better, and more compassionate. I do look forward to the future tremendously and it can make it hard to live and embrace the moment but I will say 2022…things are going to be booming in a couple years. We just need to ride through the craziness right now.

Now let me explain a bit about each retrograde period we are currently in, the dates the planets that will be retrograde and what we can expect for the next few months:

Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn: From April 25 - October 4. Pluto is the planet of death, birth, rebirth and transformation. This retrograde is all about limiting beliefs and breaking through our own limitations. Opportunities for transformation will certainly be possible. Pluto is all about our shadow side and embracing that shadow side. So many people try to play it off as if they are perfect or their lives are perfect but it is more than okay to embrace that darkness inside of you. If anything it is better to embrace it because then you can actively work on yourself and the things that drag you and those around you down. Your shadow side can be anything from negativity, addicting, obsessive and self sabotaging behaviours. Look at your emotions, your intuitive side, your fears and doubts. Great chance for transformation and rebirth. As a collective I think this is something that we need more than ever right now. This retrograde period will be affecting those with Cardinal signs the most, that is Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Look to your natal chart where these placements lie and which house Pluto resides for you. This will tell you more information on what to expect for your personally.

Saturn Retrograde in Aquarius and Capricorn: From May 11 - September 29. Saturn is the planet of restriction, rules and responsibility. This is a time to rethink your goals and career ambitions and your life purpose. Shifting your energy towards aligning with things that truly serve your life purpose and cutting ties with things that no longer serve you. Rethinking your own commitments, patience, discipline and life lessons. Self discipline will definitely be served well during Saturn Retrograde. Saturn and Aquarius could not be more different so it is somewhat contradictory these two being together. Aquarius bringing their rebellion and universal nature into the mix of the restriction of Saturn. Again the shift is going to be inward. I feel like this is going to be a big one for changes to the economy and businesses with all this COVID-19. Saturn is currently in Aquarius but it will be moving back into the sign of Capricorn on July 1st. Perhaps this date will be significant. We are sure to feel the difference in energies because Aquarius and Capricorn are very different. Another thing that can be well suited for Saturn Retrograde is to focus on our paternal healing aka daddy issues. Capricorn and Saturn are both very much associated with ones father so if there is any work that needs to be done involving your father now is the time to reflect upon this. Be welcome to change and growth because it is coming whether you like it or not. Those who embrace the reflection and growth will come out of this in a better position than those who don’t. Those that will be affected by this retrograde period will be with fixed signs Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius and those with cardinal placements Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Also look to which house Saturn resides in for further information on how this will personally affect you.

Venus Retrograde in Gemini: From May 13 - June 25, 2020. Venus is the planet of love, beauty and money. This retrograde period will certainly be a period of reevaluating relationships, your finances and your look. Exes tend to pop up, not only during Venus retrograde but in all retrograde periods, but most certainly you will most likely get clarity on relationship situations that you have been confused on. Relationship issues may also arise. And despite the clarity you may achieve, it is certain you will have to put in heart wrenching and painful work to get through these situations. Yes it is about relationships but it is a lot about what YOU want out of a relationship and how YOU want to be treated. If people pop back into your life that have treated you badly, don’t even entertain it. It is not recommended to do any major drastic changes to your look, rather think about what you are currently happy with the way you look and plan what you will do for after Venus goes direct. This to me includes things like plastic surgery, tattoos, and major hair transformation. Good thing for us, most of these things aren’t even open right now. Be prepared for potential financial shake up. In a good or bad way. Get your finances in order but don’t be surprised if unexpected money may come your way in the next few weeks. Do not spend hastily if this does happen for you and rather save away for a rainy day with any extra income you may receive. Venus is one of the planets that goes retrograde the least and the last time it was retrograde in Gemini it was 2012. Themes from 2012 may reoccur so think about the people you were with and the situations you were in. This retrograde period will be affecting those with Mutable placements the most that is Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. It also will be affecting Taurus and Libra as they are ruled by Venus. Look to which house Venus resides in your natal chart for more information.

Jupiter Retrograde in Capricorn: From May 14 - September 12, 2020. Jupiter is the planet of luck, expansion, hope and healing. This is going to be a time to reassess your spiritual and religious journey/beliefs. Again, you will be looking back on things and reevaluating what is no longer serving you, what is holding you back and what doesn’t align with who you are as a person and your values. Focus on your spiritual side. This is a really good time to get back into meditation if you are already into it, or else begin. Get into doing rituals, we all know I love Moon rituals, if you have never done one, but have always been curious this is the best time to get into any kind of ritual. You need to really look inward and find out your own wants, desires, goals, hopes and wishes. Renew your faith in yourself and the universe. The Universe does have your back and will not send you anything you can’t handle. The things that are harder that you go through are just to give you growth in the best ways. Working on growth and healing will be very good for you during this time. This retrograde period will be affecting those with Cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. It also will be affecting those who are ruled by Jupiter which is Pisces and Sagittarius. Look also to which house Jupiter resides in for more information.

So now you see why things have been so upside down, in limbo and maybe you feel as if you are facing a lot of obstacles and challenges. Be prepared for people to reenter your life, having to do a lot of work towards healing and growth. Life as we know it is going to be changing and we just need to embrace all the changes and use the time to review, reflect, revise and reconsider basically everything as we know it. Use the time wisely rather than trying to fight change. Change is inevitable, there is no use fighting it.

One more thing that I would like to touch on is the ever so lovely eclipse season that is upon us. There will be a full Moon eclipse on June 5th in Sagittarrius (which is only 2 weeks away, can you believe that!?) Not only is the Moon in Sagittarius but the Sun is in Gemini so this one is going to be a doozy for Mutable placements, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. Eclipses symbolize change, growth, shedding the old ways and embracing a new way of life. Full Moons symbolize endings and new beginnings, things that were hidden in the shadows coming to light and letting go of the negativity and toxicity that surrounds you. Themes of Sagittarius involving truth, growth and consciousness. This eclipse will square Mars in Pisces and may give off an aggressive vibe but even work it could be passive aggressive. Neptune will also be squaring this eclipse as well so throw in a hint of dreamy but delusional energy as well. When the date comes closer I promise to write about the full Moon eclipse.

Anyway that is what has been going on, with me personally and then also in the skies as well. I know a lot of people have been going through it. I feel the energy heavy but to be honest I always love retrograde periods because I have several planets in my natal chart that were retrograde at the time of my birth, I thrive during retrograde periods because of this. I also just like slower periods of rest, reflecting and growth. Nothing wrong with it at all and I believe that is just the Taurus in me. I think it can be hard for most people, especially those who are already in uncertain situations. But all I can say is use this energy to find out what exactly you want, who you want, what you want to look like, what you want your finances to look like, what your main core values are, what your spiritual beliefs are. Basically everything, reevaluate it all. Nothing wrong with letting go of bad habits, bad people, limiting beliefs and behaviours. Full "Flower" Moon in Scorpio Ritual

There is a full Moon in Scorpio coming up this Thursday early morning at 5:45am CST. This is an amazing time to do a full Moon ritual. Full Moons are a time where emotions and sensitivities are already heightened, it is a good time to ground yourself and release some of the negative emotions you may be feeling and toxic ties you may be attached to. There are some really ancient rituals that have been done for 1000s of years. A lot of different astrologers, witches and healers use these types of things to help people with the difficulties of life. You can do a ritual for all kinds of different things but some popular times to commit to doing a ritual is during new Moons, full Moons and during the equinoxes and solstices. If you really enjoy doing them then you can start to do a ritual for other things you need in life. It can be very therapeutic. The power of manifestation is a crazy thing and that’s why these rituals are important.

The full Moon will be in the water element of Scorpio. Full “Flower” Moon, known as a Flower Moon because now is the time of year when flowers should be budding and blooming. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto and Jupiter the planets of death, rebirth, sex and transformation, and luck and expansion. They are mysterious, sexy, passionate, inquisitive, deeply emotional, sensitive and intuitive. They are a Fixed sign and because of this are associated with loyalty, stubbornness, determination, focus and stability. Themes surrounding this full Moon involve power and control, your shadow side and how to embrace it, deep and meaningful sexual connections, and potential financial struggles. Letting go and cutting toxic ties are always the number one theme on full Moons. Truths and lights will be illuminated as well.

Whereas we perform new Moon rituals to set wishes and intentions for the month ahead of you, the reason we do a full Moon ritual is to let go of things that no longer serve you. This could be attitudes, emotions, personal relationships, bad habits, illnesses. Anything you can think of that is negatively impacting your life. Things that have been hidden can also be revealed. Revelations and people being exposed. You can count on it for a full Moon. I like to burn my full Moon ritual intentions. It can be very symbolic and healing. You can also interpret the way your paper burns, so if your intentions light up instantly and burn the paper completely you have truly let go or maybe the fire fades quickly and only burns off a corner, what do you think that is telling you? Focus on the flames and how the paper looks at the end of it burning.

You have 3 days before the new moon to perform this ritual or 3 days after.

1) Gather any and all supplies that you will need for the ritual. Incense such as You can use sage to smudge beforehand, I will be using White Sage from my own personal sage bundles that I have been making, for this full Moon. You will need some crystals ( labradorite, aquamarine, malachite, amethyst, citrine, lapis lazuli, and black obsidian), a pen, a journal to write, a bowl to smudge in or burn intentions, a bowl of water and a white, black or silver candle.

2) Create yourself a special alter space for all the items that you have gathered. It doesn’t matter where your alter space is, it can be any table in the house or on the floor, wherever you feel most comfortable. Decorate with items such as crystals, plants, candles, things you find outside in nature like leaves or feathers, decorative table runners, anything you can really think of that seems appropriate. For the Scorpio full Moon I will be incorporating the use of pink flowers to signify not only Beltane which we recently celebrated but also the “flower” aspect of this full Moon. Labradorite, clear quartz, selenite, aquamarine, amethyst and black obsidian will be the stones I plan on using. I will be using white candles and my jumbo tillandsia xerographica. Sage used to cleanse my energy, crystals and cards.

3) Start by smudging your alter space and say a little prayer. It can be along the lines of “I respect mother Moon and all she does for us. I plan to release that which no longer serves me. I do this to heal myself from past traumas and to fully let go and move forward.“ Write down your traumas and the things that we wish to let go of focus on them, meditate on them. What do you wish for your life? Can you actually picture these things happening to and for you in your life? Letting go WILL NOT work if you truly don’t believe it. It’s important to be clear on what you want. You can doodle and make your intentions “pretty” or it can be as simple as writing a list. This is a good time to set intentions and goals. What do you need to let go of in order to attain these goals? What is no longer serving you Some of these intentions could be: I will embrace my shadow sign, learn from my negative traits and grow from them. I will embrace my sexuality and let go of any sexual traumas and insecurities. I will let go of any power and control struggles I have internally and with the people who are close to me. I will focus on financial goals and ways to improve my finances. And so on and so forth. These are generic Scorpio intentions but you can better suit them to your needs as well.

4) Light your candle and put your crystals in the bowl of water. You want to charge the water and cleanse yourself after burning your intentions. Hold your intentions over the other bowl and using the candle light them on fire. Like I have already said you will want to analyze how they burn, even take a picture or video to look back on later. Use the water to charge your crystals. Write about it in your Moon journal. Something to look back on over the next few weeks and to remind yourself of what you are letting go.

5) At this time you can take some time for yourself however you wish, write down your interpretations of the flame burning, further meditation, possibly a tarot reading if you do that, you can even enjoy a glass of wine. Tell the Moon you love her, clean up your space and now is a good time to put your crystals in a window sill to charge under the light of the full moon. You have just completed your full Moon ritual. Now can be a good time to take a detox bath. Use bath salts, flowers, crystals and maybe even a charcoal mud mask to help detoxify and destress.

Just like the oceans’ tides that ebb and flow as does the Moon wax and wane and although emotions can be heightened during the full Moon you will soon feel back to your normal self and ready to tackle a whole new month/Moon cycle. Super Full "Pink" Moon in Libra and Jupiter conjunct Pluto

Tonight leading there will be a super full Moon. You can see her in all her glory tonight and I am sure most of you have seen her the past few days growing to peak fullness. She is stunning and takes my breath away each time. She will be at peak fullness around 9:35pm tonight. Get out there and soak in some of those gorgeous Moon rays tonight. Known as a “Pink” moon because this is the time of year when flowers and plants are starting to bud and grow and pink is a common colour for the blooms. Known as a SUPER Moon because it coincides completely with perigee, which is the closest the Moon comes to Earth’s orbit and thus gives it the appearance of looking larger and closer to us. In the sign of Libra, ruled by Venus the planet of money, beauty and love. This is going to be one on how we socialize, restoring peace and balance, specifically in relationships and other partnerships. It is really important to do a Full Moon Ritual tonight if you haven’t already done one. Check out my previous blog post on how to perform your Full Moon Ritual. The one thing to remember about full Moons is they are a time of letting go of that which is no longer serving you, toxic ties, bad habits and negative influences. This is also the time to manifest what you want for the next few weeks. Set your goals, focus on them, visualize them, speak them into existence. The word socialization comes to mind a lot when thinking of this full Moon. How are most of us handling the social distancing? Because Libras are social butterflies and being caged in with minimal social interaction does not bode well for them. I can guarantee that many of us may be going through feelings of cabin fever, especially those who are either laid off or now working from home. All I will say about this is we will have to find new ways to socialize, while maintaining social distancing. It is a weird change but this is the new norm for us, at least for the next little while. If we all can maintain social distancing then hopefully we will be out of this pandemic sooner rather than later, but I foresee this pandemic lasting longer than anyone is hoping for. Find ways to interact with your friends and loved ones that are safe to do so. FaceTime on the phone, drop off care packages, talk, text and email more often, whatever you have to do to keep in touch but keep your distance. There will also be an emphasis on relationships and partnerships. If things are not balanced and peaceful they will be illuminated this full Moon. Balance is everything to Libra, and if someone is not pulling their weight it will surely be exposed during this time. Focus on being the best partner you can be. Are you pulling your weight in your relationships? How can you be a better and more helpful partner? But full Moons also at the same time are a really good time to focus inwards and pamper yourself. Especially if you are feeling particularly emotional. Stay in, take a cleansing bath, do a hair and face mask, eat some yummy food and try to get a good nights sleep. This full Moon will be affecting of course those with Libra placements, but also Cardinal sign placements which include Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.

As always full Moons signify endings and new beginnings. Light is shed onto things that have been hidden in the shadows and depending on what sign it is in incredible transformation. It is also a time of heightened emotions. Be cautious of your reactions because you may act or think irrationally. This is a good time to use crystals to keep you grounded, balanced and steady. Some Libra crystals you can use are Citrine, Emerald, Black Tourmaline, Tiger’s Eye and Labradorite. This is also an amazing time to do a full Moon ritual which month by month I post on how to perform one. We perform full Moon rituals to release and let go of toxic and negative energies and feelings. It is very therapeutic and if you can get 4 in your group, Earth, Air, Fire and Water you are a force to be reckoned with. Full Moons are also a time of deep healing and can be overwhelming. Take the time to rest if you need. People often find they are either insomniac or extra sleepy during full Moons. If you are feeling tired or not well definitely take the time to rest and recuperate. Lastly I just wanted to also include a little tidbit on one of our most recent astrological aspects we just embarked upon, Jupiter conjunct Pluto on the 4/4/4 portal. Light meets darkness. Jupiter the planet of luck and expansion and Pluto the planet of birth, death, rebirth, transformation and cycles. This will be revealing shadows and darkness and expanding transformation on a large and wide scale. This can go a number of different ways, good and bad. Jupiter expands everything it touches, while Pluto illuminates the cycles of death, birth and rebirth. Jupiter gives us hope, faith and shows our potential. Pluto reveals those dark aspects that need deep and all consuming transformation on a personal and societal level. There is opportunity here to break free from old patterns and take a leap of faith into a new reality. But with this comes uncomfortable change, fear and anxiety. Many deep emotions for us to process individually and as a collective. An opportunity for a paradigm shift on a global scale. We must confront the darkness with light, otherwise we will be consumed by it entirely and healing will be very difficult. We must use Jupiter’s gifts of optimism to harness the transformation and power of Pluto. Jupiter gives us the utmost hope that going through what we are going through right now will be worth it in the long run. Our broken society will heal from this, butt first we will go through hell. People won’t make it through this conjunction, spiritually, mentally and physically. But knew light and new energy are on the other side. Just hold your faith that all will be well. We are also currently in the shadow of Pluto retrograde which will begin in a couple weeks. Pluto once again the planet of birth, death, rebirth and transformation will be retrograde from April 24th in Capricorn and will go direct on October 4th. Full "Pink" Moon in Libra Ritual

There is a full Moon in Libra coming up this Tuesday night at 9:35pm CST. This is an amazing time to do a full Moon ritual. Full Moons are a time where emotions and sensitivities are already heightened, it is a good time to ground yourself and release some of the negative emotions you may be feeling and toxic ties you may be attached to. The full Moon will be in the air element of Libra. Full “Pink” Moon, known as Pink Moon because now is the time of year when flowers should be budding and blooming, and turning pink. Libra is ruled by Venus the planet of love, money and beauty. They are outgoing, very social, friendly, charming, have an eye for beauty, are very diplomatic, balanced and peaceful. They are a Cardinal sign and because of this are associated with leadership, action, and ambition. Themes surrounding this full Moon involve socialization, or lack thereof, how to refocus this energy as we shift into our new paradigm, balance, peace, partnership and relationships. Use this full Moon to focus on releasing any negativity and stress surrounding the pandemic and COVID-19. Letting go and cutting toxic ties are always the number one theme on full Moons. Truths and lights will be illuminated as well.

Whereas we perform new Moon rituals to set wishes and intentions for the month ahead of you, the reason we do a full Moon ritual is to let go of things that no longer serve you. This could be attitudes, emotions, personal relationships, bad habits, illnesses. Anything you can think of that is negatively impacting your life. Things that have been hidden can also be revealed. Revelations and people being exposed. You can count on it for a full Moon. I like to burn my full Moon ritual intentions. It can be very symbolic and healing. You can also interpret the way your paper burns, so if your intentions light up instantly and burn the paper completely you have truly let go or maybe the fire fades quickly and only burns off a corner, what do you think that is telling you? Focus on the flames and how the paper looks at the end of it burning.

You have 3 days before the new moon to perform this ritual or 3 days after.

Sage used to cleanse my energy, crystals and cards.

New Moon In Aries Ritual

The new Moon moves into Aries on March 24 2020 at 4:29am. We set intentions for the month on the new Moon to be clear and concise about what we like to achieve. New Moons are about manifesting our goals and desires whereas full Moons are about cutting ties and letting go. The new Moon in Aries asks us to focus on our independent spirit, strength, courage and discipline. Aries is a fire sign, a Cardinal sign and ruled by the planet Mars. Mars is the planet of action and drive. They are the first sign out of 12 signs which makes them natural born leaders. The fiery, independent, competitive, positive, passionate leader of the zodiac. However they are also impulsive, aggressive, irritable, temperamental and egocentric. Cardinal in modality meaning they are leaders, initiators, action oriented, traditional and energetic. An Aries new Moon is the perfect new Moon for the craziness that the world is going through right now. A time to manifest something to give us the strength and independence needed to get through the trying times that will be ahead. The Aries new Moon will also be conjunct the asteroid Chiron, the ‘wounded healer”, with strong emphasis on themes that involve our wounds/healing, where we are vulnerable and medicine/healthcare.

I will be using selenite, clear quartz, black tourmaline, citrine, red jasper, carnelian, hematite, mugwort, dead roses, 4 candles all white, a ceramic bowl to burn intensions, my tarot cards and my Moon journal. My journal was a wedding gift but I believe you can buy something similar at Indigo. The tarot cards I purchased from a small bookstore in Kelowna but they are called Mystic Mondays and I believe you can also buy them on Amazon. Decorations and crystals have all been purchased over the years from various locations such as Sandboheme, Folkpourri, Michaels, the Forks, Stonebridge Imports, Gilbert’s Stone, Radiance Gifts and Dollarama etc.

3) Start by smoke cleansing your alter space and say a little prayer. It can be along the lines of “I respect mother Moon and all she does for us. I take this time to set honest intentions. I manifest all that is good and bright and light. I have the power to change my future. I will let go all that no longer serves me. I am totally and completely alined spiritually. I am in tune with my higher powers. “ Write down your intentions or wishes. focus on them, meditate on them. What do you wish for your life? Can you actually picture these things happening to and for you in your life? The manifestation WILL NOT work if you truly don’t believe it. It’s important to be clear on what you want. You can doodle and make your intentions “pretty” or you can just be as simple as writing a list. Some new Moon in Aries intentions would be: I will take action towards accomplishing a goal. I will maintain strength and optimism in difficult times. I will be courageous despite feeling anxious and scared. I will take this time too focus inwards on myself and work on any negativity or egocentric behaviours. Use the word WILL, over and over, reiterate it. As I said before it won’t work unless you truly believe. There are of course the typical ones for manifestation as well; make lots of money, lose weight, be a better person, better mother/father, better friend, etc. You can manifest whatever your heart desires truly. These are just some examples of Aries themes.

4) Light your candle. You will write your intentions down into your journal. You will start off by writing down the goals and desires you have for this new month ahead of you. You will ask for the guidance in doing this. Don’t let fear or ego hold you back any longer. Next you will write about your wishes for the next month. What do you desire above all else. This is the perfect month to focus on yourself and your true desires. Now is the time to be realistic and focus on the things you truly need to accomplish in order for your dreams to manifest entirely. You will light the paper on fire and watch how the fire burns your intentions. Maybe it burns fast or maybe it fizzles out fast or maybe it burns slow and smouldering. This seals your desires and puts them out into the universe.

5) At this time you can take some time for yourself however you wish, further meditation, possibly a tarot reading if you are into that, you can even enjoy a glass of wine. Tell the Moon you love her, clean up your space and take the crystals to bed with you. You have just completed your new Moon ritual.

Having said all of that I would like to preface this by saying not to put too much pressure on yourself for any of your goals especially when it comes to work matters. Times are tough and uncertain so it is definitely important to focus on our mental health most importantly. Maybe put your actions towards things you can do at home, learn a new skill like baking or sewing, pick up a new hobby like acrylic painting or reading that book you have been putting off. Start a new workout program you can do in your basement or living room. Whatever will help you stay sane, safely in your home away from other people. Stay strong and power through the best you can. I also wanted to say one more time, I put out a blog post in January about Saturn conjunct Pluto and I would like to remind y’all what I said in this post. Something big, hard and life changing was coming, astrologers were not sure how it would manifest, but an example of what happened last time Saturn was conjunct Pluto is the beginning of the AIDS epidemic. 37 Weeks Pregnant in the Midst of Moving and a COVID-19 Pandemic

Hey everyone! I hope you all are safe and well. I wanted to do a quick update on what is going on in my life and for my family because I realize that the last few months of blog posts have mostly been about astrology and witchy sorta things. Which is all well and good but so much has changed in a week not to mention since the new year so an update is long overdue.

As we all know I became pregnant at the end of last summer and Jesse and I found out we are having another boy! How exciting! The number one thing that was on our list to prepare for our new sons arrival was we needed to move and ASAP. And how lucky for us we found our perfect dream home and honestly right in the knick of time too. I do want to do a house update for y’all soon, everything is coming together really well and once the rest of our renos and furniture arrive I will do a full house breakdown and tour. But basically it’s a dream come true and we have everything we need to live a long and happy life here. It was NOT in my preferred neighbourhood but given our timeline, I could not wait around for what I deemed our perfect home. And honestly the neighbourhood is a dream come true and very much us, so it’s not even an issue. All I will say though when it comes to house hunting however, is unless you have all the time in the world or the biggest budget in the world, then you will likely need to compromise in some way and the perfect house doesn’t really exist. But you can make it perfect. We found the house in mid January, put in the offer and went back and forth a couple of times and she accepted finally. We were able to get immediate possession basically because our house luckily sold within three days and the lady who lived in our new home was already moved out. There was a bunch of work we wanted to do before we could officially move in with the boys so this gave us enough time to get that done.

Fast forward about a month. My grandma was very kind to offer me some money to purchase new things for our home so I bought lots of nice, new stuff. Adult things and our own because since we have lived together since 2010 we have had all hand me downs from both of our parents. Which is great but it is very refreshing to have our own stuff that reflects our own personal style. I thrifted a bunch, and shopped from mostly Wayfair, IKEA and Structube. I can’t wait til the rest of our furniture shows up so I can really show what we have done with the place. But basically for about a month I was just shopping, packing, overseeing renos and getting ready for our move.

As we all are aware of now, the coronavirus was growing and growing overseas. Like most people I thought nothing of it at first. I thought the same thoughts as a lot of people “it’s just a flu” “it’ll go away” “no need to stockpile” “no need to alter my lifestyle.” We have been through many huge potential pandemics in the past and it never really lead anywhere and always just sorta went away eventually. H1N1, SARS, Ebola, there are a few I can think of over my lifetime at the very least. I do have a love for Twitter, I am a Gemini Mercury and Venus and the knowledge, information and knowing everything I can possibly know is my love language. Twitter was updating constantly on the situation so while at first I thought this whole situation was going to blow over, it did become apparent over the weeks that things were indeed escalating and a lot more serious than I ever imagined. But even last week I still thought for sure I would be going on my Italian family vacation in July. How quickly things changed even just overnight.

Last weekend was our official weekend to move out. It was supposed to be the weekend before but it got pushed back due to a delay in our renovations. Luckily Jesse had been moving a lot of stuff for us late at night and our POD that we had rented to store our belongings while our house was on the market was already emptied into our new home. We had to basically build furniture, unpack, get the boys room set up and make sure the house was habitable for them and all of us. There was a lot of shopping that I hadn’t done at this point. I was putting it off because I didn’t want to fill our old home with unnecessary things when I thought I would have about a month to get everything done at my leisure. I had to get a bunch of baby stuff still, all my plants, grocery run (not even to stockpile but just to be ready for the baby) and last minute house things. At this point I heard the stories of ridiculous people stockpiling toilet paper and bottled water and knew that the virus had made it’s way over to Canada but I still thought I had time or that it wouldn’t really affect my lifestyle. I have been suffering from pregnancy insomnia the most out of all my pregnancies, due to so much being on my mind and horrible pelvic pain while I lay down for a few hours. When I am up late at night I tend to scroll the news which I know doesn’t help but it came to my attention the situation in Italy. This completely freaked me out and made me much more aware of the seriousness of this issue. I realized I likely would not be going on my summer trip. Last week my mom and I made a stop at the Outlet mall, it was a ghost town. I realized that I did not have as much time as I thought. My parents took the kids last weekend so we could move in and do what we needed to do. Our first thing on the agenda was our Costco shop. Well at this point everyone was realizing the seriousness of COVID-19 and that didn’t happen for us. Had we not had a million things to do and a move to focus on we might have been able to stick around and wait it out but the line up was to get into the parking lot alone. We decided we would try groceries later and focus on moving. While Jesse did runs back and forth from our house I took this time to do all the shopping I wanted to get done. I bought plants, baby stuff and some last minute home decor and essentials. I didn’t feel too bad not helping out with moving because it is not as if I could lift much anyway. And luckily I was able to get my errands done. Things felt tense, anxious and panicked in stores. Even stores that weren’t selling food like Home Sense. Everyone was slightly panicky. At this point the term self isolation was being thrown around and people were being recommended to start thinking about distancing themselves and not leaving the house for any reason. My dad had returned from Mexico about a week before, my mom and her partner were home. Jesse’s family is unfortunately still in Florida, and are planning on coming back this week, I hope they experience no issues crossing the border. But we likely will not be able to see them for a while at this point, well beyond Salem’s birth. I will be happy and relieved once everyone we love is back home and safe. Also around this time, schools were shutting down, the NBA and NHL had shut down, major events were cancelled, grocery stores were running out cleaning supplies, paper products and essentials and most restaurants and bars were starting to close their doors as well. Jesse was talking about shutting down his businesses. Shit was getting real. This was no longer a far distant problem overseas that was “just the flu.” My mindset shifted completely. I did go get a pedicure last Saturday, which now that I think about it was not essential at all. But I knew the salons would quickly be closing their doors and I needed one desperately before the baby, and I also needed to relax. So I did take my chances and went to Tiber River and was able to relax for a couple hours. I don’t regret it despite how foolish it might have been. I was definitely overworking myself last weekend. My body was so sore, Braxton Hicks contractions on and off all day, pressure building in my pelvic region. I overdid it for sure. But it needed to be done. All meanwhile my poor son Jaxson was experiencing an allergic reaction to the amoxicillin he had to take earlier in the week due to his ear infection (check out his latest update under Jaxson Myers in the main menu). I have never felt so much stress, pressure and like everything was happening all at once. It was a lot to begin with now adding in the fact that a pandemic was happening and the future was so uncertain it was more than anyone would be able to handle. Surprisingly I am handling it as best as I can. By Sunday our house was ready for the boys to come and live in. We had set up what we could and would be working on it as time went on. So we went and got our boys and they came home. This made me feel instantly better to know that they were with me and under the same roof. They loved it! We ordered pizza that night, relaxed as a family and played in our new spaces. The boys are now sharing a room and Asher is officially in his big boy bed as well. On top of everything going on with us adults, it’s a lot of change for two little humans. They are surprisingly adapting very well and handling it much better than I anticipated. Asher had to sleep in his pack n play the first night but since then he has taken to his toddler bed and I think they both find comfort in sharing a room together. It is very sweet. Naps have been interesting but once the black out blinds come in it’ll hopefully be better. Jaxson has said to us a few times that he misses the old house and wishes he lived there still. Which makes me sad but I am sure is very normal. We have settled in very well this week. I have unpacked and organized a lot of our spaces and it feels like a home. So while the outside world is crumbling and uncertain, it is very safe and cozy inside my safe haven I have created for us. We are on a river front property with an incredible backyard, tree house, back deck and fire pit included, so when the weather improves that will be another bonus of this magnificent fortress. If there is one good thing that has come from all of this, it is us finding this amazing home and moving in with everything we needed before things really got bad. For that I am grateful.

I certainly have a lot of anxiety however still. Now it’s not about the house and the move but it’s about labour, quarantining when Salem arrives, not having my regular support network via in person, and a lot of my husband’s work situation is up in the air. I am grateful he is still able to work but I am also worried about germs he is going to bring home. But at the same time I don’t want his restaurants to be affected by closures so it is very very conflicting. They are doing delivery service for the time being and I hope it ends up being successful and worth their while. The government stimulus is very reassuring to know. Especially the child benefit tax. This will help tremendously during these times. I am very grateful to have such amazing benefits as a Canadian. I still need a new vehicle and very desperately. We have been waiting on this for the new owners to take possession of our home so we could get the money from the sale of our house, but is this something that is going to be available in the next few weeks to come? I worry that we will end up in a mandatory nation-wide lockdown before the opportunity to get that done happens. I really just don’t know. I I am so thankful because before all of this I had already made the decision to have Salem at the birthing centre. Way less people and less germs. But also no doctors and no pain management aside from laughing gas. I feel confident I can do it, but I am not looking forward to the world of pain I know I am about to be in, in the next few weeks. I just need to keep telling myself that it Is only temporary. And well worth it to have the peaceful and calm birth I have always wanted. I do worry that Jesse will bring something home and I will also get sick right when I go into labour that could affect Salem in utero. There’s been hardly any studies done on this matter so very little evidence of what could potentially happen. I do believe the risks are very low but I am sure there is some sort of risk associated. I need Salem to come soon, safe and fast. But at the same time I need a couple weeks to mentally prepare. So I do not want him to come early. Avoiding the hospital at all costs is my goal. Please send me all the good, quick and easy labour vibes and pray for a healthy and strong Salem Gunner Friesen. Please send positive vibes to all those small business owners, restaurants and restauranteurs whose livelihoods will be affected by life as we know it. Please send positive vibes for a healthy community, an economy that bounces back strongly, and a quick recovery from this pandemic.

In the meantime I am perfectly happy to self isolate in my new home. It gives me the best excuse to nest and organize and have everything ready and prepared perfectly for when Salem does arrive. As a stay at home mom self isolation isn’t that much different than every day life so I am grateful that it is not the biggest change to our every day lives. Jaxson will be out of school from this point forward so we will need to actively work on things he would be working on in school but I am also not really putting that much pressure on myself or the kids because of all the changes we are all going through and about to be going through. I am really looking forward to some nice weather, goodness knows we need it. I just need to get out of the house if only for a walk, but its hard because everything is so icy. This week is going to be an improvement for sure. I cannot wait to see what our yard looks like without any snow. I am so excited for things to start blooming and growing again. We need some life, positivity and warmth.

I really hope you are all doing your part where you can too. The least anyone should be doing is social distancing. This includes, not seeing friends and family, limiting our travel, not going anywhere unnecessarily and washing those hands as often as you can. I realize that there are people my age and also those who are older as well, who may not understand why they can’t get together with their friends and family, or go out just for the sake of going out. We are young, strong and healthy. We will bounce back if we get sick. But it is not about us. It is about our parents and grandparents. It is about the immunocompromised. It is about my 37 week pregnant self, and my about to be new-born baby. These are the people we need to be protecting. And unfortunately with people still having social gatherings this is risking everything. Look at Italy! Look at Spain! They did not take it seriously. They did not do what was necessary and now!? 793 reported deaths in a 24 hour period win Italy. This is scary, alarming and so unnecessary. Do I think we are headed the way of Italy? I think we are in a better position for many different reasons but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be taking all the precautions we can. Let’s learn from these countries that are months ahead of us when it comes to this virus. Let’s not be selfish assholes. Please just stay the fuck home. The longer we do not comply with this, the longer we will have to take these extreme measures. And the stricter our lockdown will get. I do not want to be forced into a mandatory lockdown but we ARE heading in that direction. Do not be ignorant to this fact. How long do you want this to last? Because at this point it is certainly going to be months. How many months of our lives do you want to be lost to this virus? When all we need to do is stay home. Please I beg you. Despite all of this I have tremendous hope for the future. Things are tense and hard right now but even seeing how people have come together to do what they need to do, and all the good that has come from this has really given me a warm fuzzy feeling in my soul. We humans are resilient. We will bounce back from these uncertain times. I am certain that after this whole situation our economy will rebound and boom from this crisis. Remember that this is all temporary. Take care friends, stay home, wash your hands and stay healthy.

Full "Worm" Super Moon in Virgo

Good morning friends! This morning leading into night there will be a full Moon. You can see her in all her glory tonight and I am sure most of you have seen her the past few days growing to peak fullness. She will be at peak fullness around 12:38pm this afternoon, March 9th. Get out there and soak in some of those gorgeous Moon rays tonight. Known as a “Worm” moon because for this is the time of year when spring is supposed to be making an appearance and the rainy weather would be bringing earth worms up to the surface. I almost thought we were going to get an early spring, but in true Winnipeg fashion mother nature has decided to give us several more days of snow and cold so I can’t foresee an early spring anymore at this point. Known as a Super Moon because it is closer to the earth than a normal full Moon and in fact it is the third largest Super Moon this year. In the sign of Virgo, ruled by the Mercury the planet of communication, technology and travel this is going to be one where we focus on health and wellness, organization, analyzing ourselves and others, aligning with what truly matters and deep cleaning our space. I will be spending the day packing and organizing for our big move this upcoming weekend. And then resting because I feel I need it. It is really important to do a Full Moon Ritual tonight if you haven’t already done one. I did not write a Full Moon in Virgo Ritual blog post because all of my things are still packed up as we are finally moving into our new home this weekend! It has been a long few months but I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and am very much looking forward to settling in our new home right before our newest addition arrives in a few weeks. In the meantime you can look back on my past blog posts on full Moon rituals. The one thing to remember about full Moons is they are a time of letting go of that which is no longer serving you, toxic ties, bad habits and negative influences. This is also the time to manifest what you want for the next few weeks. Set your goals, focus on them, visualize them, speak them into existence. This is a really good time to focus on self care and finding ways to remain positive, especially if you find yourself particularly pessimistic. Pessimism can be all well and good, and sometimes help keep a realistic mindset but when you are borderline bitter, this is doing nothing for your manifestation and also is a turn off to the people who are around you, friends, family, coworkers etc. Perhaps positivity is something that you need to work towards and your pessimistic side is something to let go of. Virgo Moons I find are always a time when people focus on hitting the gym, eating healthy and organizing their chaotic lives. There is a health oriented aspect very much associated with Virgo. However Virgos are also quite anxious and tightly wound which sometimes allows them to let loose, and not necessarily in the healthiest of ways. When they let loose, they go hard and crazy. If you are going to let loose, do it, understand this is also part of Virgo, but try not to overdo it and try to make healthy choices as well. Use this time to make healthy choices and organize your space but also to do some deep analysis not only on others and your relationships with them but also on yourself. Recognizing our own mistakes and areas where we can improve. How you can best serve those who you love and care about, while also serving yourself and your own needs. Full Moons are a really good time to focus inwards and pamper yourself. Especially if you are feeling particularly emotional. Stay in, take a cleansing bath, do a hair and face mask, eat some yummy food and try to get a good nights sleep. This full Moon will be affecting of course those with Virgo placements, but also Mutable sign placements which include Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces.

As always full Moons signify endings and new beginnings. Light is shed onto things that have been hidden in the shadows and depending on what sign it is in incredible transformation. It is also a time of heightened emotions. Be cautious of your reactions because you may act or think irrationally. This is a good time to use crystals to keep you grounded, balanced and steady. Some crystals you can use are Apatite, Sodalite, Moss Agate, Dalmation Jasper, Howlite and Serpentine . This is also an amazing time to do a full Moon ritual which month by month I post on how to perform one. We perform full Moon rituals to release and let go of toxic and negative energies and feelings. It is very therapeutic and if you can get 4 in your group, Earth, Air, Fire and Water you are a force to be reckoned with. Full Moons are also a time of deep healing and can be overwhelming. Take the time to rest if you need. People often find they are either insomniac or extra sleepy during full Moons. If you are feeling tired or not well definitely take the time to rest and recuperate. Happy full Moon friends and remember to take this time for yourself whichever way you plan to.

I wanted to also include a little tidbit on Mercury Retrograde in Pisces. Mercury goes direct today!!! It is almost over. We are currently in Mercury Retrograde’s shadow period which some may argue can be more energetically potent and effective than the actual Mercury Retrograde itself. This will last us a couple more weeks and around March 23rd things will start to move forward properly and become more clear again. We are not out of the woods yet. As with all retrogrades the planet appears to be moving backwards and cause all sorts of shenanigans during this time. Expect travel delays or cancellations, technological breakdowns, miscommunications to occur, especially over text and email, and general confusion and haziness. It is a good time to back up and triple check all your work and do some inner work on your own intuition. Be weary and vigilant still during this shadow period. I know this retrograde period has been absolutely bonkers for a lot of people. What with the whole coronavirus thing causing mass hysteria and even cancelling a lot of people’s travel plans. Even myself, I have this huge family trip planned in NORTHERN Italy for July with my entire family. Northern Italy where they are currently quarantining 16 million people due to illness. Northern Italy which has the highest outbreak in all of Europe and is absolutely in the “no travel unless necessary” zone. I am so upset and disappointed because I will not travel to Italy in the summer if things remain the way they are. I am remaining optimistic however that things will improve by then and the travel situation will be completely different by July. I feel by the time Mercury is truly out of its shadow period we will know more about this whole illness situation and see major improvements. I still foresee it dying out and not necessarily disappearing all together, because I feel like covid-19 is just going to be one of those new illnesses we will need to deal with from this point forward, but the hysterics and the travel confusion will definitely improve. Mark my words, I truly predict that is how things will end up. Be hopeful people. But even as I was writing this blog this morning I completely deleted the whole thing by accident without saving it, an hours worth of work just gone. Damn Mercury Retrograde, we are definitely not out of the woods and as I said before, remain vigilant for just a couple more weeks.

I also just wanted to take this time to toot my own horn for a minute. At the beginning of the year I wrote a blog post on the New Year, what it was going to bring and her big planetary aspect Saturn conjunct Pluto that was going to be wreaking havoc. This included natural disasters (Australian fires), political issues and scandals (a big USA election, World War III), and issues with a potential virus outbreak (Covid-19), stock market highs and lows and China being at the root cause of a lot of these problems. I am not the only one who has made this prediction but the more the year goes on the more these predictions are coming true. This aspect will be until the end of the year so I just wanted to update y’all and say that we are not out of the woods yet. This year has been and will definitely continue to be interesting. Hang in there friends! What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger, smarter and wiser. It is all a learning process so don’t get too discouraged. As for the stock market, I know many people are upset and worried about it which I can understand. However I wish I had better news as Taurus has moved into Venus where it has also joined Uranus. This makes for more unpredictability and volatility. We will need to wait and ride this all out. False feelings of fear will make people act out irrationally. Patience and keeping a level head will be imperative during this time.
